Prof. Patrick Siarry was born on May 28, 1952, in Pertuis. His research area is relatively new (since 1982), a new "metaheuristic" optimization, such as simulated annealing, which is indicated for the so-called problems of "hard optimization" because of their ability to avoid, in principle, trapping in sub-optimal solutions. Jiaxiang Zhang is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on human and machine intelligence. Dr. Shengting Cao is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Knox College, specializing in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and Extended Reality (XR). My research focuses on generative AI for video, 3D human motion analysis (including skeletons, joints, and motion capture), and multimodal learning that integrates vision, language, and embodied signals. Tomas Janousek is a second-year master's student at the Institute of Automation and Computer Science, Brno University of Technology. Mr. Filip Mironov was born in 2001 to a family of engineers in Prague. I was acquainted with robotics at CTU and Yaskawa corporation. These experiences led me to study automation at Brno University of Technology, where main topics in field of robotics that I had to tackle were path planning algorithms, CNN, optimalization (mathematical programming), ML and ROS2. My current research is on topic of easy, quick and reliable deployment of these services through Docker or SDK on robotic platforms equipped with ACU (accelerated computing unit). These platforms include industrial, collaborative, mobile and humanoid robots.
